No jars, no canners

You can get those anywhere, and they're heavy. We sell the tools that go around them, the ones that are hard to find and easy to get wrong.

Picked by use, not by margin

Every item is one we'd put in our own kitchen in Rogersville. Most of them are already there.

Written for the Southeast

Our guides, kits, and calendar assume Zone 7b–8b: a hot June, a long fall, and a kitchen that's too warm for a slow starter.

Questions we get

Do I need to buy jars from you?

No. Our canning kit and tools fit standard regular and wide-mouth mason jars. Buy jars locally; they're heavy and cheap.

Where does everything ship from?

Tools and kits ship from US warehouses in 3–7 business days. Printed goods are made to order in the USA and take 2–5 days to print before shipping.

Can I return a tea towel or tee?

Printed goods are made to order, so not for size or change of mind. Misprints and damage are replaced free with a photo within 14 days.

How long until I can bake with a new starter?

About a week of daily feeding at room temperature. The Starter Kit jar has a date band so you don't lose count, and the First Loaf Kit has everything for the bake itself.
